Resolved Question: What is the cheapest method of travel from Washington State to Connecticut?

I live in Washington but I want to visit family in connecticut for the holidays. I am extremely poor but would do just about anything to go surprise my parents this Christmas. I just need to know the cheapest method, I won't walk but I will go by train, bus, car, plane, just about anything. Also, if you look and find something cheap could you tell me where you found it?
